Willow nursery

Thanks for your interest in the Wondertree nursery. We currently sell over 300 varieties that fall into the following broad categories:

Our most popular products are willows in 2-3 litre pots or as 20 cm cuttings. Some are available just as cuttings whilst others are available just as pots. Many can be bought as pots and cuttings – your choose! Pots generally retail for £8 and cuttings in bundles of 5 for £3.50.

We can propagate to order but will need orders in the spring of one year in order to be able to meet your requirements during the following winter.  We can also source hard to find willow species.

We generally send willows when the plant is dormant in the winter (December-March). The maximum parcel length we send is < 1m so willows will be bent or cut to size where necessary – willows are generally flexible and very resilient so can handle this treatment. We pack the boxes as well as we can but on occasions a few catkin buds may be lost in transit.

We also hold a stock of many willow varieties in larger sizes. If you want an instant impact in your garden or for a garden show then perhaps we can help. Please call us on 0844 249 2901 to discuss your requirements. We currently do not ship larger plants but can arrange a suitable pick up location in the SW.

We aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We reuse pots, boxes, bubble wrap and elastic bands.

We are located on land managed Carymoor Environmental Centre located on an active landfill site in Somerset. We will be using organic compost produced from the regions green waste. The Carymoor site will provide a place where you can come and pick up willows and peruse the different types.

Postage The following are standard parcel prices for the post office and allow for the weight of the box and packing materials:

• 1 x 3 litre pot = 2.5 kg = £6.85
• 2 x 3 litre pots = 5 kg = £9.30
• 3 x 3 litre pots = 7.5 kg = £11.40
• 4 x 3 litre pots = 10 kg = £12.24
• 5 x 3 litre pots = 12.5 kg = £14.26
• 6 x 3 litre pots = 5 kg = £14.26
• Larger orders > 6 pots = £25
• Larger orders > 10 pots = £40
